Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified. Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.
Experience Requirements
Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance. Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required. Manufacturing, food production, QA/QC, or laboratory experience Experience collecting and testing samples Comfort performing repetitive testing and accurately recording results Strong attention to detail and basic computer/data-entry skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Medical lab techs easily transition to this role
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, food safety, COAs, or quality specifications — definitely a plus Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred. Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment. Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Lab Technician.
