Job Summary

A local multi-location organization is seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist in Haughton, LA to support new-hire onboarding, employee documentation, HR systems, and communication across 7 locations in the U.S. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an organized HR professional who enjoys creating a smooth, welcoming, and compliant onboarding experience for new employees.

This role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, strong work-life balance, and the advantage of being paid for 40 hours while working a 37.5-hour week. The environment is professional, team-focused, and supportive, with an emphasis on accuracy, follow-through, and positive communication. Candidates who take pride in helping employees start successfully will do well in this HR Onboarding Specialist position.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate new-hire onboarding, hiring documentation, and required employment paperwork.
- Process I-9 and E-Verify documentation accurately and within required timelines.
- Assist with tax forms, benefits enrollment, payroll deductions, and related HR documentation.
- Communicate with new hires by phone and email, providing clear instructions and consistent follow-up.
- Track outstanding paperwork and ensure onboarding requirements are completed on time.
- Enter, update, and maintain confidential employee information in ATS and HRIS systems.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $17 to $19 per hour, based on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Lunch: 30 minutes.
- Hours: Work 37.5 hours per week and get paid for 40 hours.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
